Dolores Ann Wagner

Dolores Ann Wagner (January 13, 1930 – September 30, 2025) born in Cleveland, Ohio, was the daughter of the late James and Mildred Malone. She had been married to her beloved husband Francis V. "Bud" Wagner since January 10, 1953, who predeceased her. Mrs. Wagner had one brother James, who predeceased her in death also.

Former long-time resident of Parma, Ohio, residing and retiring to Catawba on Lake Erie since her early retirement in 1985 from the Parma Board of Education. She worked six years in administration at Parma Senior High School and Twenty-two years in administration at Arlington Elementary School. She considered her job at both the high school elementary as a total joy in her life. Being surrounded by students and helping the young children was a delight to her. In her retirement, she enjoyed living on the lake, gardening, attending art classes at Firelands College, taking computer classes, volunteering for the Red Cross Blood Mobile and the Magruder Hospital Auxiliary for 34 years. She also did volunteer work for her church.

She enjoyed many winters in Sarasota, Florida with her husband. Dolores was an avid golfer for many years, loved snow skiing as well as fishing in Canada and Lake Erie. After her husband's passing, she sold her home on the lake and bought a condo at the Vineyard Condominium Association. There are no surviving children.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Father Jonathan Wight 10:00 am Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Immaculate Conception Church in Port Clinton, OH. Interment to follow at Catawba Island Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Parish, 414 Madison St., Port Clinton, OH 43452.
