Domenic Brigandi, age 105, a beloved World War II veteran and devoted family man, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025. He served his country honorably, translating for General Patton and earning a Purple Heart for his bravery. Domenic's life exemplified honesty, kindness, and unwavering care for his loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Louise Brigandi; his sons, George and Alfred Luciotti; his grandchildren, George and Lisa Luciotti; his sisters, Frances Doto and Carmella DeSantis; and his brothers, Frank, Samuel, Eddie, and Vincent Brigandi.
He is survived by his devoted son, Anthony Luciotti, and his wife, Patricia; his daughters-in-law, Joanne Luciotti and Joyce Matola; his treasured grandchildren, Cheryl Mastroeni-Thacker, Anthony Luciotti (Dawn), Louise Clark, Joanne Westenberger, Stephanie Rivera (Joseph), and Dallas Luciotti; his great-grandchildren, Natalia Clark, Justin and Christian Westenberger, Dominique Clark, Josephine and Dominic Rivera; and his great-great-granddaughter, Faye Westenberger. Domenic is also survived by his brother, Louis Brigandi; his niece, Donna DePaul (Joe); his nephew, Michael Brigandi; and numerous other relatives who will miss him dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, March 10th from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Parish / St. Mary's R.C. Church, 32 Carroll Ave., Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM. Interment & Military Honors will follow at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) to honor Domenic's legacy and service to his country.
Domenic's life was a testament to courage, love, and dedication. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
