Domenico Bottoni

Domenico Bottoni, 91, of Monroe, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, NJ.
Born on February 7, 1934, in Ripi, Italy, Domenico was the son of the late Sante and Giuseppa (Genovesi) Bottoni. He immigrated to the United States in 1954, initially settling in New York before moving to Greenville, PA, where he met the love of his life, Fernanda. The couple later moved to Lawrenceville, NJ, where they spent many happy years together.

Domenico enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing cards, and meeting friends for coffee on Sundays. He was a proud and hardworking member of the Local 172 Laborers' Union, working in construction for many years. Later in life, he opened his own construction business, which he ran successfully before retiring.

Domenico was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Giovanni Bottoni; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Marvin and Elisa Over.

He is survived by his devoted wife of over 60 years, Fernanda (Perciballi) Bottoni; his sister Luisa and her husband, Alex Bottoni; his brother Giacomo Bottoni and his wife, Michelina; his sister-in-law, Maria Bottoni; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends in both the United States and Italy.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Road, Hamilton, NJ 08619. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at St. Gregory the Great Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date in his hometown of Ripi, Italy.
