Domenico "Dom" A., age 88, of Broomall, PA passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025.
Dom was born in the town of Torricella Peligna in Abruzzo, Italy. He immigrated to the United States at the age of 24. He worked hard to provide for his family and retired from SEPTA after 38 years as a car mechanic. After retirement, he enjoyed cooking, tending to his garden, making homemade wine and spending time with family and friends.
Predeceased by his parents, Antonina (nee Porreca) and Rocco Cianci, and his sisters, Maria Piccirelli (Giuseppe), Anna Passalacqua (Domenico) and Rosina Piccirelli (Antonio).
Survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Anna (nee Passalacqua) Cianci, his children, Donato R. Cianci (Sharon) and Maria A. Blair (Tony), and his three grandchildren, Donato Jr. (Abby), Nicholas, and Tara.
Relatives & friends are invited to his Viewing Saturday, March 8th 9:30 AM – 10:15 AM followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM ALL IN CHURCH at Saint Anastasia Roman Catholic Church 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Interment Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
