Domenico DeLuca

Domenico DeLuca passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Rosetta DeLuca for 66 wonderful years. Dearest father of Diana (the late Mark) Rousseau, and Frank (Edye) DeLuca. Cherished grandfather of Sara (Drew) Rousseau, Stephanie (Paolo) Soave, Steven Rousseau, Michael (Jessica) Rousseau, Ashley (Rick) Putnam, Courtney (Rhen) Scura, and Domenic (Kristal) DeLuca. Loving great-grandfather of Aiden, Gabriel, Peyton, Camden, Carlina, Giuliana, Valentina, Ella, Allie, Vince, Gavin, and River. Caring brother of Fernanda (the late Pantaleone) Nicolo, and Silvana (the late Ferenc) Nagy. Adored uncle of the late Josie Laux, Mishella (Jason) Trzasko, Ferenc (Mary) Nagy, and their children. Domenico is also preceded in death by his dear parents Pantaleone and Flavietta DeLuca.

Born on March 24th, 1938 to parents Pantaleone and Flavietta DeLuca in Vacri, Italy. Domenico was a proud Italian-American, having moved from Italy to Detroit in the United States. Domenico had many interests and hobbies, including gardening, Bocce, bowling, hunting, wine making, and keeping up with the latest sports news. Domenico retired young to pursue many passion projects, always learning new skills along the way. He was a very generous and devoted friend to many. Domenico would help his family or friends in any way he could. Above all, Domenico was a proud husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle to his wonderful family.

Visitation Wednesday, November 5th, 2025 3-9 pm with a Scripture Service at 7pm at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). Instate Thursday, November 6th, 2025 at 9am until Funeral Mass at 9:30am at St. Blase Catholic Church, 12151 15 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48312. Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, MI to follow.
