Domenico Felice, 90, of Livonia, Michigan, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born in Cercemaggiore, Molise, Italy, to Domenico and Giuseppina Felice, before moving with his wife and family to Switzerland and later immigrating to the United States in 1972.
A man defined by quiet strength and steady devotion, Domenico retired from Ford Motor Company after more than 30 years of dedicated service. Remarkably, he maintained a stretch of over 25 years of perfect attendance-a testament to his unwavering work ethic and the pride he took in showing up every single day.
He was married to his beloved wife, Rosa, for 70 years-a partnership rooted in love, loyalty, and shared purpose. Their life together was filled with commitment to family, enduring friendship, and serene joy.
Retirement did little to slow Domenico down. He found new purpose tending to the grounds of the Felician Sisters' campus in Livonia, where his love of gardening blossomed into years of volunteer service. He often said that working with his hands outdoors kept him young, and he approached the gardens with the same care and diligence he brought to everything in life.
Domenico cherished simple pleasures-playing cards with lifelong friends, sharing meals with family, and watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. He found bliss in the day-to-day and lived by a straightforward philosophy: show up, work hard, and take care of the people around you.
He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Giuseppina. He is survived by his wife, Rosa; his sons, Nick (Kathleen) and Enzo (Thea); his grandchildren, Zachary (Linda), Dominique (Kyle), and Alexandra; and his great-grandchildren, Kaide, Westley, Auro, and Ivey. He will be remembered with deep love and admiration by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at the O'Brien-Sullivan Funeral Home in Novi, Michigan, on Thursday, May 15, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m with a rosary at 7:00 PM. A funeral Mass will take place on Friday, May 16th at 10:30 am at the Catholic Church of the Holy Family in Novi, Michigan.
