May 29, 1948 – October 12, 2025
Domenico Fittipaldi, age 77, of Ardsley, PA, passed away on October 12, 2025, surrounded by his greatest pride and joy, his family. Domenico was born on May 29, 1948, in Altomonte, Italy, to the late Pasquale and Clementina Fittipaldi. At the age of 19, he came to the United States and became a very talented bricklayer. He learned the English language, prospered in his trade, and built a life for himself in America.
Domenico found great joy in the simple pleasures of life—tending to his garden, making his own wine, and spending time at his mountain home in Sullivan County. Above all, his greatest love, pride, and joy was his family.
Domenico was the beloved husband of Angeline (Fragale), with whom he shared 53 blessed years of marriage. He was a devoted father to Jeanine Fittipaldi, Maria Buccafuri (David), and Dominick Fittipaldi (Ashley); a proud and loving Pop Pop to David Jr., Christina, Grace, and Dominick; devoted brother of Mario, Frank, Giuseppina and Carolina; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Domenico was predeceased by his brothers Vincenzo, Tommaso, and Biagio.
He will forever be remembered as the gardener who planted the seeds (traditions) which will continue to grow in his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to services on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Ave, Ardsley, PA 19038.
