Dom SAVED MY LIFE. He helped me to get and stay sober and I could not have done it without him. I am now almost a year sober because of his love, compassion, and support, and I plan to stay sober and make him proud.

One time he looked at me when I was being a pain in his butt, and told me "you´ve got one hell of an attitude, missy". There are WAY too many instances where he made me laugh or smile. He was just that type of person. Even on my darkest days, he could make me crack a smile just by being there.

Dom helped me to get and finally stay sober... One of my favorite memories of him was when I finally "graduated" my outpatient program, after months of being back and fourth with my recovery. We did a "goodbye group" to talk about my journey and me leaving outpatient. I had never seen Dom cry, but he did, and when it got to his turn to share, he made sure to let me know how proud of me he was. He also made sure I knew how much he loved me and that he had so much hope for me.
