Dominick Paul Alvira

Dominick was born in New York on May 24, 1965, to Barbara and Domingo Alvira and passed on June 12, 2025.

He is survived by his wife, Kate Alvira of Fort Pierce, FL; mother, Barbara Alvira of New Orleans, LA; sister, Annalisa Alvira (Clarence Reid) of New Orleans, LA; and nephew, Casey Carpenter(Jennifer) and family of New Orleans, LA.

Dominick is predeceased by his father, Domingo Alvira.

Dominick was the Broker of Sunrise City Realty of Ft. Pierce, Florida since 2003. He worked in real estate for 29 years.

Dominick was always active in community service; he chaired golf tournaments for the American Legion Post 358 and for Rescue Adoption of Ft. Pierce, a local dog rescue and clinic. He and his wife, Kate, adopted many dogs over the years and gave them a loving home.

He moved to Florida in 1986 from the Poconos area of Pennsylvania and enjoyed fishing, boating, soft ball, and golf. His love of sports had him rooting for his favorite teams in football, hockey, basketball, baseball, and soccer. Dominick played for many years on the Haisley sponsored bowling league at St. Lucie Lanes in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

He was a man of integrity, warmth, and great humor. He will be enormously missed by his family and many friends.

A service will be on Saturday July 12, 2025 at 4:00 PM at eh American Legion Post 358 located at 4350 Oleander Ave. White City, FL 34982.
