Don Alvin Bair
Don Alvin Bair, age 88, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023. Don was born on Sunday, March 31, 1935, in Mechanicsburg to the late John Henry Bair and Arlene Laverna (Walters) Adams. In addition to his mother and biological father, Don is preceded in death by his father, Wilson E. Adams, and two brothers, William and Dennis Adams.
Don’s survivors include his wife of 66 years, Lucille “Lucy” Maxine (Sheaffer) Bair; his three children: Richard L. Bair and his wife, Linda, of Lebanon; Don A. Bair, Jr. of Mechanicsburg; Crystal L. Hull and her husband, Mark, of Carlisle; his three grandchildren: Tucker R. Hull and his wife, Kandice; Ashley L. Hull; Don A. Bair, III and his wife, Emma; his two great-grandchildren: Cooper and Eleanor; his two sisters: Sandra L. Miceli of Cottondale, AL; Ann R. Olberg and her husband, William, of Mechanicsburg; and many beloved nieces and nephews across the country.
All are welcome to join Don’s family at his gathering of family and friends on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:00 p.m. at Buhrig Funeral Home & Crematory, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Pastor Michael L. Seifried officiating. Don’s family invites everyone to join them for a time of food and fellowship at Buhrig’s Gathering Place (next to the funeral home) immediately following the service. Cremation was private.
