Eva Adams Obituary
Born on October 6, 1936 in Hardy County, WV, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Watson and Bessie Mae (Link) Constable. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas O. Adams, Sr.; her son, Dallas O. Adams, Jr.; three brothers, Waldo, Stanley and Clarence Constable and two sisters, Hazel Snyder and Virginia Wilson.
Arlene was a graduate of both Keyser High School and Potomac State College. She was a member of Mt. Zion Church on Knobley Road, the Fountain Ruritan Club and Alkire Chapter # 10, Order of the Eastern Star, Keyser.
Surviving is her daughter, Shelia D. Fisher and husband Stevan of Mechanicsburg, PA; two sisters, Geraldine "Jerry" Hefner and Loretta "Wimpy" Bergdoll; five grandchildren, Holly Mawhinney and husband Paul, Taryn Tasker and husband Curtis, Lacey Holmes and husband Jordan, Dallas O. "Trey" Adams, III and wife Kayla and Cassidy Westerman and husband Rick; 15 great grandchildren, Adalyn, Weston and Luke Mawhinney, Brielle, Jaquez and Kaden Tasker, Emerson, Soren, Annie Wren and Micah Holmes, Marlee, Mayzee and Maxson Adams and Porter and Aubrey Westerman as well as many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Mt. Zion Church on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Eisenhour and Pastor Bruce Mawhinney officiating. The family will also receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
