Larry Lee Coy, age 75, of Carlisle, died on Thursday, January 1, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer. Larry was born on Tuesday, December 26, 1950, in Harrisburg to the late Ira K. Coy and Carrie I. Breach. In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his son: Brannan W. Coy; and stepfather: William C. Breach.
Larry’s survivors include his son: Brett L. Coy and wife Cindy, of Manchester; his granddaughter: Taylor Stone; his two great-grandchildren: Taylyn, Faith; and a close family friend: Tristan Bonds, Larry was known to him as Pop.
Larry worked for many years at Conrail Railroad in Enola and later retired from ABC West bowling alley in Carlisle. A dedicated bowling enthusiast, he enjoyed a lifetime of the sport, achieving a perfect 300 score and two 299 score games. Larry dedicated numerous weekends to dirt track racing at Silver Springs and Williams Grove Speedway alongside his sons Brett and Brannan and being a part of the Beer Hill Gang. His humor and time with loved ones were cherished. Larry will be dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
There are no plans for a service at this time but the family may have a celebration of life at a later date.
