Don Blaine Cazier, 76, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones at his home in Plain City, UT. Born on August 21, 1948, in Salmon, ID. He was the only son to Blaine and Eva Cazier. He spent his younger years growing up in Star Valley, WY and later moved to Roy, Utah where he attended Roy high school.
He’s the father of six, Nick, Brandon, Angie, Michelle, Heidi and Kolton. Sadly, Angie passed away shortly after birth. He served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970 and was stationed in Germany. After serving in the Army, he worked at the scrapyard at HAFB as a crane operator and shared years of friendships as part of the “junkyard dogs”. He worked for HAFB, retiring in 2003.
Don married the love of his life Debbie on August 9, 2010, after spending 18 years of being “special friends”. Together they shared road trips on the trike, going to Wendover, spending winter months in Arizona but most of all, time together making memories, ones that even included their kids and grandkids.
His hobbies were camping, riding his trike, attending car shows, classic cars, tinkering in his garage, listening to music, dancing, gambling, writing poems, and spending time with his family.
Don is survived by his children, Nick (Alonna) Cazier, Brandon Cazier, Michelle (Jed) Slama, Heidi (Jason) Sandlin, and Kolton (Maranda) Morley; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Annette (Dwight) Henderson, Sherry Cazier, and Susan (Bill) Barker. He was preceded in death by a daughter, his parents, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Plain City Cemetery.
