Mr. Don Drake, age 66, of Lewisburg, TN, died Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Born in Williamson Co., Don was a son of the late Brown Will Drake and Edith Jean Bobo Drake. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Mary Ellen Drake and Sandra Kelley; a brother Paul Drake.
Don loved farm life and worked at the Allen Farm in Caney Spring for many years and had the farm not sold he would have worked there until the present time. After the farm closed he worked as a machine operator at Walker Die Casting. In addition to his love of farm life Don enjoyed going to car shows and loved old cars. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Survivors are his wife of 35 years, Lisa Owen Drake; a daughter, Brittany (Pacer Turnage) Drake; 3 sisters, Barbara Defoe, Carolyn Gordon and Patricia Blackwell; 2 brothers, A.J. Drake and Homer Drake; Nieces and Nephews; Also survived by his 3 Grandogs, Brady, Romeo and Hank
Visitation will be Friday, June 27, 2025 at Lawrence Funeral Home from 4PM – 8PM. A Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 11AM from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with burial to follow at Allen Cemetery in Caney Spring. Pallbearers are Pacer Turnage, Steve Smithson, Jeffrey Owen, Jr., Brandon Drake, Mike Trammell, Jeff Owen and McKenzie Smithson.
