Don Fiser, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on October 14, 2025, in Littleton, Colorado, at the age of 90. Born on December 1, 1934, in Mahaska, Kansas, Don’s life was a journey marked by resilience, love, and laughter.

Don was a successful self-employed businessman who dedicated himself to running a thriving vending machine business. His entrepreneurial spirit was a reflection of his independence and determination; he was truly a self-made man, often asserting, “it’s my way or the highway.” After receiving his Associates degree from Fairbury Nebraska Community College, he continued to embody a strong work ethic, providing for his family and creating a life filled with cherished moments.

In addition to his career accomplishments, Don served his country honorably in the Army Reserve for nearly five years. This period of service was a testament to his character, showing his commitment to duty and support for his community.

Don's family was his pride and joy. He and his devoted wife, Patricia, celebrated 65 remarkable years of marriage, filled with love and companionship. They built a life together raising their sons who brought further joy to their lives with grandsons Mark and Sam, as well as granddaughters Reece and Maryann. He cherished each moment spent with his family, imbuing every gathering with his signature humor.

Those who knew Don will fondly remember his infectious energy and playful spirit. He had a constant notable sense of humor and was known as a mild practical joker, often poking fun at the people he loved most. His good-natured orneriness made him a delightful presence, and he leaves behind a legacy of laughter and warmth. A big Denver Broncos fan, Don found joy in watching games and sharing those moments with family.

Don's other passions included fishing, dancing to the rhythms of country music, and tending to his garden. He was a general outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, where countless memories were made under the starlit sky. His zest for life and love for nature were evident in everything he did.

While we mourn the loss of Don, we also celebrate his many accomplishments and the indelible mark he left on the lives of those he loved. He is preceded in death by his son Chris, infant granddaughter Erika, and brother Dennis. He is survived by his wife Patricia, son Timothy and his wife Eugenia, grandsons Mark and Sam, granddaughters Reece and Maryann, daughter-in-law Michale, and brother Larry.

Don Fiser’s spirit will live on through the stories shared among family and friends. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
