Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home - TremontonDon Lowe Gibbons, 82, passed away on October 20, 2025, at Brigham City Hospital. He was born on July 15, 1943, in Coalville, Utah, to Reno George Gibbons and Evelyn Smith.
On January 14, 1961, he married his beloved wife, Sally Ann Jensen, in Brigham City, Utah. They shared many wonderful years together until her passing on August 2, 2017.
Throughout his life, Don resided in Brigham City, Corinne, and Bear River City, Utah. He dedicated much of his professional life to the Bear River Valley Coop, Thiokol, and IFA before retiring.
Don had a passion for farming, enjoying the company of his goats, chickens, and sheep. He cherished time spent with his family, relishing drives and visits to livestock auctions. His greatest joy was in making his wife, Sally, happy.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Don is survived by his children, Dalene (Craig) Toth and Kyle (Jolene) Gibbons; his grandchildren, Trever, Skyler, Dillan, Alexis, and Devin; and six great-grandchildren with one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sally, his son Dann Lowe Gibbons, and his brother Ray Gibbons.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 11 A.M. Viewings will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 5-7 P.M. and prior to the service from 9:30-10:30 A.M. All services will take place at the Bear River City Church located at 5870 N 4700 W, Bear River City. The service will be livestreamed and can be found below.
Don’s legacy of love for family and his passionate spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
