With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Rickie Lynn Jensen, who passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, in Ogden, Utah, just days before his 71st birthday. Rickie was born on October 21, 1954, in Preston, Idaho, to Amos Bernard Jensen and Barbara Johnson Corbridge Jensen.
Rickie was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. He loved the outdoors and found his greatest joy in the simple moments. He loved hunting in the crisp autumn air, casting a fishing line into a quiet stream, or just taking in the beauty of nature around him. In his later years, he shared his days with his loyal dog, Dune, whose companionship brought him great comfort and joy.
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberlee McClellan; son-in-law, Kaleb McClellan; and his two grandsons, Kyston and Kasem McClellan, who brought endless joy and meaning to his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos Bernard Jensen and Barbara Jensen, and his brother, Gordon Jensen.
Rickie’s generous spirit and willingness to help anyone will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the stories shared around campfires, the laughter of his grandsons, and the beauty of the outdoors he so cherished.
