His survivors include his wife, Lillian Hampton; one son, Don (Kenya) Hampton, JR; one daughter, LaQuita (Brandon Slacks) Hampton; three brothers, A.D. (Cheri) Hampton, JR, John (Gladys) Hampton, and Dean (Barbara) Hampton, four sisters, Sylvia Presley, Sherry (Fletcher) Robinson, Denise Hampton, and Zelda (James) Evans, and a host of relatives.
