Don was born in Corsicana, TX on September 23rd, 1949. While he and his family spent several years in Colorado-following his career with Safeway, Texas was always home and he spent the last 23 years there with his wife Lucy.
He was a devoted husband, father, PaPa and friend to many. He inspired many with his big heart, unwavering faith, and welcoming nature. He always made sure everyone knew they were loved and thought of. He will be very missed.
Don is survived by his wife Lucy, his sons Fred (Olga) and Daniel (Lindsey), his grandchildren Allison (Sean), Emily (Eddie), Elijah, Lucy, Samantha, Elina, Arina and Alexander, his sisters Nancy (Jim), Dana (Mike) and Carol (Bobby) and his dear friend Jerry (Susie).
