Don W. Loppnow, age 87 of Ixonia, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, October 24, 2025.
Don is survived by his children: Jolynn (Les) Phillips, Sandy (Matt) Tripi, Christine (Tim) Pruetz, Dean (Kathy) Loppnow and his daughter in law Kandy Loppnow. He is further survived by 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 3 great, great, grandchildren along with his sisters: Alice Borchardt, Eunice (Stan) Indermuehle and Lora (Merlin) Krause.
Don was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Rosemary. His parents, Roy and Agnes Loppnow, brothers, Robert and Dennis Loppnow, sister Ginny Dornfeld, his sons, Don Jr. and Dan Loppnow and his granddaughter Ciara Loppnow.
Don spent his entire career of 41 years at MSI General which he thoroughly enjoyed. He loved farming, cutting wood, hunting and shooting sporting clays every week with his son and grandkids and great grandkids. Showing up to shoot with 4 generations sure made him proud! He always made his daily visit to D&D Millwork to check up on his son and grandson’s to make sure things were running smoothly.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Private services for Don will be held for the family. Memorials in Don’s honor are suggested to the charity of your choice.
