Don is survived by his brothers, Gary Merritt of Russell, KS, Kent Merritt, and his wife, Michelle of Parsons, and Kurt Merritt, and his wife, Bonnie of Oswego; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his wife, Don was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Charlotte Merritt.
