Don J. Mosher, age 86, a resident of Lorain and formerly a longtime resident of Elyria, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 18, 2025.
Don was born July 2, 1939 in Bryan to the late John and Edith (nee Walden) Mosher. He was a systems analyst manager for several years and then changed careers to a self employed semi truck driver. Don enjoyed woodcarving, painting landscapes, gardening, and was an avid reader. Most important to him was spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years Carol Ruth (nee Replogle) Mosher, their daughters Melinda Schaffer (Tom Harold) of Lorain, Jennifer Hale (Greg Davis) of Elyria, and Lisa Diedrick (Trent Gray) of Elyria, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Michelle Mosher and brother Rex Mosher.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at the Andras Crematory & Funeral Home, 3900 Broadway Avenue, Lorain from 11 a.m. until Noon at which time there will be a Masonic service followed by his funeral service with Pastor Adam Davis of Lorain Lighthouse United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in North Murray Ridge Cemetery, Elyria.
