Don Parham

Don Parham, 85, of McAlester, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2024.
Cremation arrangements are entrusted in Bishop Funeral Service and Crematory. A memorial service will be at a later date.
Don was born on September 6, 1938, in Indianola, Oklahoma to Carlos and Alcie Parham.
Don's journey with the United States Air Force began on April 1, 1959, marking the start of a dedicated service to his country that would last until his honorable discharge on March 31, 1967. Upon earning an Associate's Degree, Don embarked on a successful career as an electrical engineer.
Don's heart found its match in Mary A. (Edmond) Casey who he married on August 3, 1963, in their hometown of McAlester. Together, they built a foundation of love and partnership that would support them throughout their lives. The couple spent most of their married life in New Mexico and Las Vegas, Nevada where they raised their four children. Angel, Lori, Crystal, and Jon. In 1997, the couple made their home in Indianola, Oklahoma
Don is preceded in death by parents: Carlos B. and Alcie (Dickens) Parham; sister-in-law: Gail Parham; brother-in-law: Chuck White; family-in-law: Jack and Anges Edmonds.
Don is survived by his wife, Mary Parham of Claremore; daughters; Angel Milam and husband, Roy of Longtown, Lori Casey of McAlester, Crystal Rast of Albuquerque, New Mexico; son: Jon W. Parham of Claremore; brother: Curtis Parham of McAlester; sister: Pat White of Indianola; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
