Marilyn was born on September 21, 1950, in Longview, Texas, to W. H. Miller and Lydia Lucycle (Garrison). She graduated from McAlester High School in 1968 and was united in marriage to the love of her life, Lynn Davis, on August 2, 1968, in McAlester, Oklahoma.

She furthered her education at Draughon's Business School and went on to build a dedicated career in Tulsa. She cherished time spent reading her Bible, working puzzles, camping with her family, shopping, and preparing meals and baked goods for those she loved. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a devoted member of Southwest Baptist Church.

Marilyn will be remembered for her quiet strength, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family and faith.

Marilyn is survived by her sons, Lee Edwin Davis of Tulsa, Jeffrey Lynn Davis and wife, Amy of Stigler; grandchildren, Jameson Davis and Mariah Victorine of Altus, Elizabeth Norton and husband, Seth of Norman, Emily Brumley and husband, Lane of Fairfax, Malachi Davis and wife, Kara of Dover, Delaware, and Jack Davis of Norman; great-granddaughter, Lilly Joan Brumley of Fairfax; sister, Janice Stone and husband, Ezra of Edmond; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
