Maud resident, Randy Dean Calvert, 71, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026, at his home.
Randy, the son of Junior “HB” Calvert and Janice (Hickok) Belshe, was born May 23, 1954, in Norman. Growing up in Noble, Randy attended Noble Public Schools. Randy started working with his dad as a brick layer at a very young age, a job that turned into a lifelong career. Randy enjoyed watching OU football, Thunder basketball, and playing horseshoes and dominoes.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Ashlee Hutton; a sister, Carmen McGaw; and brother-in-law, Andy Smith.
Randy is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Carrie and Brandon Travels, of Maud, Sarah and Joseph Glasco, of Maud, Nicole and Nolan Weeks, of Florida, and Caitlin Kueneman, of Maud; 17 grandchildren, Nevaeh Travels, Mason Travels, Jordan Brewer, Cole Brewer, Jacob Glasco, Kayla Weeks, Maddie Weeks, Nolan Weeks, Paisley Weeks, Ashlyn Weeks, Sky Hutton, David Hutton, Paden Wallace, Aubri Kueneman, Korbyn Kueneman, and Bentley Kueneman; one great grandchild, Hudson Drew Brooks; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Janna Calvert, of Maud, Brandon and Mary Calvert, of Muskogee, and David Calvert, of Louisiana; sisters and brother-in-law, Kathy Lewis of Maud, Anna and Bob Van Orden, of Arizona, Rita Smith, of McAlester, Carolyn Cummins, of Arkansas, and Kendra Hunt, of Oklahoma; a brother-in-law, Wayne Green, of McAlester; and many other family members and friends.
A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Baptist Church in Maud, with Butch Bradley officiating. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
