Troy "Butch" Joe Yargee passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026 at his home in Wewoka, Oklahoma at the age of 69. He was born on July 1, 1956 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Joseph Samuel Yargee and Kathrine Jo Hawkins.
He attended school at Holdenville Public School. He was a member of Indian Nation Baptist Church in Seminole, OK. Troy was ordained as a Deacon at Indian Nations Baptist Church in Seminole, OK on April 2, 2017. He was baptized on July 11, 1965 by Rev. Major Hawkins. He enjoyed going to church, watching sports, and spending time with his family. Troys most treasured accomplishment was changing his life and giving it to the Lord.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Roy "Bunny" Yargee, and Ledon Alexander.
Troy is survived by his brothers, Squegee Yargee, Leroy Alexander Jr.; sister, LaDoria Williams, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Wake service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Middle Creek Church #2 in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Middle Creek Church #2 in Holdenville, Oklahoma with Rev. Larry Factor officiating, assisted by Pastor Dan Factor. Interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
Pallbearers: Ronnie Alexander, Mike Mooney, Franklin Sinclair, Alex Yargee, Edward Robinson, Wilson Yargee.
Honorary pallbearers: Chris Brown, Bob Spencer, Jimmy Mooney.
Arrangements by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
