Don Wayne Scalf

Don Wayne Scalf, aged 55, of Dry Ridge, KY, sadly passed away on October 8, 2025. Born on March 2, 1970, in Covington, KY, to Don Ray Scalf and Rena Sigmon Scalf, Don Wayne was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many. As an operations manager for Verst Group Logistics and a dedicated member of Big Bone Baptist Church in Union, KY, Don Wayne exemplified hard work and commitment. His faith in Jesus Christ guided him, and his love for his family was unwavering. He was a devoted father, son, brother, husband, and son-in-law, creating cherished memories with his loved ones. An enthusiastic fan of the University of Kentucky, he relished every moment spent fishing and golfing. Don Wayne is preceded in death by his father, Don Ray Scalf, who passed away in 2022. He is survived by his loving wife, Angela Scalf; his sons, Colton and Hunter Scalf; his mother, Rena Scalf; his siblings, Chad Scalf and Michelle Stewart (Tim); and his cherished mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dorris and Parker Prince, along with several nieces and nephews who adored him. Join us in honoring Don Wayne's life during the visitation from 11 AM to 1 PM, with a funeral service at 1 PM on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Big Bone Baptist Church, 11036 Big Bone Church Road, Union, KY 41091.
