Gary left behind his wife, Nancy Love Scalf of Kingston. His children, Shannon (Eric) Lookenott, Shawn (Deena) Scalf, Romona McDermitt, Kelly (Daniel) Huddleston. His brothers Larry (Geri) Scalf and Leo "Skip" (Charlotte) Scalf. He also left behind 9 grandchildren: Carlene Scalf, Lauren Hall, Nash (Bri) Scalf, Delaney Lookenott, Zachary Adams, Bryant (Lauren) Adams, Luke (Nikki) Huddleston, Christopher (Lisa) Lookenott, and Jennifer Lookenott. He also left behind 6 great-grandchildren Finlee Scalf, Aiden Greer, Lily and Chloe Lookenott, Cal Adams, and Emmett Huddleston. Kyker Funeral Home of Kingston is serving the Scalf Family.
