Don Thompson Obituary
Jackson, TN: Donny Glen Thompson, age 76, passed away December 31, 2025, at Magnolia Regional Hospital at Corinth, MS.
He was born April 26, 1949, in Henderson, TN, the son of the late Herman 'Doc' and Jimmie Nina Rainey Thompson. He grew up and attended school in Chester County.
He worked in the trucking industry for over fifty years, primarily as a truck driver. He worked for GE and Copen Associates as a dispatcher, and he was also an independent truck driver for many years.
Mr. Thompson is survived by a son, Todd Thompson (Shawn) of Finger and two brothers, Jerry Thompson (Paula) of Cookeville, TX and Tony Thompson of Henderson; two grandchildren, Sydney Taylor Thompson and Tanner Ray Thompson; nephews, Curtis Stewart (Ashley) of Abilene, TX and Kirk Thompson of Guntersville, AL and nieces, Aletha Glover (Bobby) of Jackson and Annette Kenney (Bobby) of Cookeville, TX; a great nephew, Tyler Glover of Jackson and a great niece, Abbie Glover of Jackson.
There will be no services.
