Don P. Welch, 91, of Scottsville, KY passed away Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Cal Turner Rehab & Specialty Care. The Scottsville, KY native was a farmer, former employee and board member of Allen County Farmer's Service and member and deacon of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Robert Anthony Welch and Molly Blanche Hurt Welch. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Lou Atwood Welch.

He is survived by 1 son: Randy Welch and wife, Debbie, Scottsville, KY;

3 grandchildren: Kenny Welch (Nickie) and Melanie Stinson, all of Scottsville, KY; Alyssa Reece (Trevor), Edmonton, KY;

7 great grandchildren: Kenley, Karlie and Kimberlyn Welch; Amelia and Layton Stinson and Wrenley Reece and unborn baby, Judd Reece;

1 sister-in-law: Barbara Rascoe (Gerald), Scottsville, KY;

Several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 2 great grandchildren: Kenton and Kennedy Welch; 3 sisters: Mildred Tabor, Roberta Myers and Dean Pitchford and 1 twin brother: Blon Welch (Joann).

Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home with Bro. Ricky Huff officiating and burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 7:00 a.m. Tuesday until funeral service at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Bethlehem Cemetery, Bethlehem Fellowship Hall Building Fund or Hosparus of Bowling Green. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
