Dona (Highlander) Copenhaver age 80, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025 in Arlington, VA. She was born on November 15, 1944 in Alderson, West Virginia. She is pre-deceased by her parents, Joe and Virginia Highlander and her son Doug. Dona and her husband Ray raised 4 children in Woodbridge, Virginia. She worked as a crossing Guard for Prince William County. Dona leaves to cherish her memory of her husband Ray, 3 children, Christopher, Kimberly and Steve, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and extended family and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday May 1, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the Lobban Funeral Home Chapel in Alderson, W.Va., with the Pastor David Highlander officiating. Burial will follow at the Alderson Cemetery in Alderson. Friends may call Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Lobban Funeral Home in Alderson.
