Donald Adams

Donald Adams of Clover, SC passed away peacefully at home on December 29, 2025.

He is survived by two daughters Lisa (Tim) Ramsey and Donna (Willi) Matava and two grandchildren, Courtney Leming and Landon Matava. He was preceded in death by his parents, VV & Ollie Adams and his sister, Ann Quinn.

Don was a graduate of Clover High School and an Air Force veteran. He worked in the sporting goods apparel industry for most of his life.

Don had several passions in life....his family, hunting, and helping the fellow man.

He was very proud of and dearly loved his girls and grandchildren.

He ate, slept and breathed hunting and being in the outdoors. He loved hunting the "little" deer around home, but he really enjoyed Kentucky where the "big deer" were, and Wyoming and Colorado where mule deer and elk were, Washington state where he hunted black bear and Alaska where he hunted moose and caribou. He enjoyed hunting most creatures known to man.

Don helped people in all walks of life. Over the years, he provided meals, clothes, and a place to stay warm to more people than can be counted. He even introduced many of them to the world of hunting. His kindness and giving nature changed the life path and heart of many people that he helped.

The family is gathered at the home of Tim and Lisa Ramsey in York. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
