Donald Jeffrey "Donnie" Anderson

Donald Jeffrey "Donnie" Anderson, 68, of Winnsboro passed away on Sunday, February 4., 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Winnsboro, he was the son of the late Luther Berrill Anderson, Jr. and Dorcas Anderson Ligon.
He is survived by his wife, Carol H. Anderson; son, James Sims (Callie); daughter, Suzanne Hill (Wayne); brother, Barry Scott Anderson (Mary); son in law, Demetrius Cassellas; six grandchildren, DJ Cassellas, Donovan Cassellas, Ashney McFadden (Maurice), Darius Boyd, Amos Sims and Ellie Sims; and great grandson, Maurice, III.
In addition to his father, Donnie is predeceased by two brothers, Anthony Stewart Anderson, and Steven Nelson Anderson; and daughter, Rebecca Cassellas.
A funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, February 9, 2024, at Winnsboro First Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow in Fairfield Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service in the church sanctuary. The service will be live streamed and can be viewed on the Pope Funeral Home Facebook page.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Donnie's memory to Winnsboro First Church of the Nazarene.
