Donald "Don" ANDRLE

1940 - 2022

Age 81, of Roseville Passed away peacefully January 15, 2022. Don was known for his gregarious personality and generous nature. He loved his family, his Czech heritage, and all kinds of sports - especially Gopher football. Don and his identical twin brother, Ron, were born in Minneapolis to Ed and Millie Andrle. He attended Patrick Henry High School, where he enjoyed playing several sports; and the University of Minnesota. Don and his wife, Pat, met as members of the Saint Paul Czech & Slovak Folk Dancers where they danced together for 40+ years. Don generously volunteered his time with Czech & Slovak Sokol Minnesota, the MN Sokol Camp, his church, and countless youth sports teams. Don was a longtime member of the Zuhrah Shriners, Masonic Lodge, and Scottish Rite. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Pat; children Mark (Rachel) and Renae (David) Faunce; grandchildren Maddie, Sydney, Wesley, and Kai; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Shirley, and twin brother Ron. Don and Pat have been members of Roseville Lutheran Church for 50+ years. Don loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all his heart. A celebration of life is planned for springtime, when family and friends can safely gather.
