Donald P. Beach "Don"
January 15, 1952 – January 20, 2025
Kaukauna, WI
Donald P. Beach, Don, passed away on January 20, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on January 15, 1952, in Kaukauna, Don lived a life defined by hard work, generosity, and a genuine love for people.
For over 30 years, Don worked in the construction industry, building barns for Keller Structures and then installing windows for Vinyl Pro. His strong work ethic and commitment to quality were reflected in everything he did. Even after a fall from a church roof left him disabled, Don never lost his determination and love for working with his hands. He seemed to always have energy for more projects. He always looked forward to deer hunting season, that even when he was unable to hunt, he sought out those with extra tags to enjoy the savory delights. In his retirement, he found fulfillment in maintaining his home, raising chickens, and mowing lawns for himself and others, including, mowing for Christ the Rock Church and St. John's Lutheran Church.
Don's greatest joy came from connecting with others, particularly in helping with projects or playing cards. He was a kind and generous man who took a deep interest in the lives of those around him. He often hosted parties for Packer games and holidays, connecting with singles from his numerous church groups. He discovered a love of baking for others and often gave his creations as gifts. During the summer months, he was often found at WIR spectating the races or driving around on his motorcycle. Whether through casual conversations or helping others in need, he made everyone feel valued. For years, Don volunteered with Meals on Wheels on Thanksgiving, delivering meals to those in need and offered his companionship to those who often had no one else to share time with regularly.
Don was also an avid cribbage player, a hobby he enjoyed sharing with family and friends, as well as playing regularly in several tournaments each week. He was always with a smile and a playful spirit, sharing new jokes and looking to bring a smile to someone's face. His warm heart, humor, and selflessness will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his children: Adam (Karra) Beach and Brenda (Enrique) Gomez; three grandsons: Dominic, Ashton, and Ezekiel; making sure to build them sandboxes, a play shed, and creating a swing set in his yard to watch them play. He is further survived by three sisters: Marilyn Beach, Elly Mueller, and Carla (John) Engelhardt; brothers-in-law: Dave (Linda) Franz, Tim (Jennifer) Franz and James Franz and a sister-in-law: Linda (Garth) Wegner.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra (nee Franz), his parents, James and Marion Beach, father-in-law and mother-in-law: Willard and Doris Franz; his 4 brothers and a sister-in-law, James, Frank, Ken (Mary), and Kevin, his eldest sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis (Richard) Beimborn and a brother-in-law: William Franz.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Alliance Church, 2693 W. Grand Chute Blvd, Appleton, WI 54913. Officiating will be Dr. Dennis Episcopo, Pastor Emeritus. Burial will be in St. John Ev. Lutheran Cemetery, town of Woodville.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Pielhop Funeral Home, 215 S. Main St. in Brillion. The visitation will continue on Monday morning at Alliance Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
