Donald Ardis Burris passed away in his home on July 23rd, 2025 at the age of 86. He was born February 3rd, 1939 in Lawton, Oklahoma to his parent's Ardis Burris and Cassie "Masterson" Burris. He grew up at Webbers Falls, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Air Force. March 31st, 1979 he married the love of his life Irene Reagan. They made their home in the Porum area for the last 46 years. He loved all his children. He loved fishing, and was a talented builder. He was an avid storyteller. He is Survived by his wife; Irene Burris of the home. 2 daughters; Andrea Burris McClure and husband Stuart; Alicia Ann Burris. 1 son; Jeremy Burris and wife Vernie. 2 Grandchildren; Andrew Simmons and wife Rachel; Britnay Simmons. 3 Great grandchildren; Eleanor, Evan, Wesley. 1 sister; Saundra Depew. 1 Brother; Wayne Burris and wife Carol of Sapulpa. Numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his parents; Ardis and Cassie Burris. Brother; E.J. Burris. 1 Daughter; Debra Burris. Funeral Service will be held at Texanna Assembly of God, July 26th, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. Pallbearers; Jeremy Burris, Matthew Burris, Braden Burris, Dean Burris, and Charles Willyard. Honorary Pallbearers; Josh Burris and Wayne Burris.

Don wasnt just a great man he was also a great father. He would do anything he could for folks in need. As a kid i would sit and listen to his stories. The famous one of all is the squirrel and frank shanks.
