Don brought many jokes and laughter to those he met. He would dance his boots off and sing until the sun came up. Don was a fearless man, rode and broke horses like a true cowboy, knew no stranger, and had a generous heart. Don will be greatly missed; may he soar high above us and be remembered with every train or motorcycle noise you hear.
Cheyenne and family will be welcoming those who would like to say their final good-byes on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 2-4 PM at McCoy Funeral Home in Blacksburg, VA. Please come with a memory or story to share on index cards provided.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Cheyenne directly to assist in the offsetting of expenses.

Don and I go way back to our school years. He has always been my other brother. We use to spend lots of time together. We would still run into each other and just pick up where we left off. He have me my first horse ride years ago, and we had lots after that first time. I will always remember him and hold him in my heart. He was a true brother. I loved his laughs, his jokes, his charisma, and his loyalty Our memories will live on for eternity. I love him and will miss him until we meet again. R.I.P. my brother.

His laughter, along with all of jokeness that entertained so many. He certainly loved to boot scoot the complete dance floor with any and everyone. There was never a dull moment when Don was around.
