Donald Caldwell was born August 01, 1960. He was born at home in Leslie County to the union of the late Henry and Helen Simpson Caldwell.
Donald had been a life-long resident of Leslie County and was currently residing at Warbranch, KY. He departed this walk of life on May 13, 2025 at the age of 64.
By occupation, Donald worked as a logger and mechanic. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Aside from work and family, Donald's joy came from the outdoors including fishing and gardening.
In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his wife Darlene Caldwell, two sisters Joann Williams and Linda Jean Fields, as well as two cherished nephews Jason and Jerome Caldwell.
Donald leaves behind five beloved children: Jonathan Caldwell of Warbranch, KY, Christopher Caldwell (Amanda) of Warbranch, KY, Laura Caldwell (Earl) of Warbranch, KY, Melissa Caldwell (Sam) of Jabez, KY, and Kelly Johnson (Danny) of Hyden, KY; one brother Lonnie Caldwell (Sue) of Stinnett, KY, five treasured grandchildren Kaylee Jade (Cameron), Brayden, Piper, Jaden, and Arianna; special cousins Debbie Brock, Diane Brock, and Ralph Brown (Cleta); his brother-in-law Neil Brock (Susie); a special uncle Millard Caldwell (Phronia), and special friend Helen Napier. A host of other relatives and friends also survive his passing.
The funeral service for Donald Caldwell will be held at 1p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at the New Hope Community Church with Ralph Brown and Denver Brock officiating.
Interment will follow the services at the Brock Caldwell Cemetery at Mozelle, KY with Jonathan Caldwell, Christopher Caldwell, Brayden Comley, Cameron Adams, Freddie Sam Collett, Billy Mac Napier, Casey Caldwell, and Peyton Sizemore serving as pallbearers.
Friends and family may gather for visitation after 5p.m. Monday, May 19, 2025 at the church.
Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
