Donald Champlin Obituary
Don loved racing on dirt tracks, he raced for over 40 years in the modified and sprint classes. He enjoyed playing cribbage and other card games.
Surviving are his children, Justine Champlin and Jason Eastridge of Charlotte and Donald John Champlin and fiancé Jordan Sobleskey of Orleans. Grandchildren, Tiegen Christensen, Caleb Pickett, Braxtan Champlin and Myles Champlin. Siblings, Cherylin (Douglas) Moore of Grand Rapids, Valerie (Brad) Gardner of Caledonia, Timothy Champlin of Crystal, Donelda Perrien of Ionia, Catrina Champlin and Ben Fillingham of Lyons and Saundi Champlin of Portland.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Tom Champlin.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a celebration of life at Lyons VFW on Saturday, January 17th from 1-4 p.m. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
