Donald Mark Davis, 73, beloved father, grandfather, brother and husband of his wife of 54 years, Georgia Barco Davis, passed away on October 31, 2022, after a brief battle with cancer. Born on November 22, 1948, in Rochester, he was a lifelong resident of Potter twp., and the former owner, along with his wife, Georgia, and partner, Mark Petrik, of the World Famous Midway Bar and Grill. A gregarious, generous and humorous guy, affectionately known as "Bull", he widened his circle of friends when he and his wife wintered at Paradise Oaks in Bushnell, Florida, and Summers at Deer Meadow, in Cooksburg, PA.
Son of the late John and Iva Davis, bull was a 1966 graduate of Rochester High School. He missed being an Eagle Scout by one badge. He was a former employee of St. Joe Lead, and owned and operated his own big rig and worked construction. He was employed by UPS for ten years at Pittsburgh International Airport before retiring in 2014, the same year the Midway closed. An avid collector of cars, trucks, signs and gasoline memorabilia, he rebuilt classic vehicles and sponsored classic car cruises at the Midway for many years. He loved riding his Harley on both long and short trips and even adapted to bicycle-riding in Florida recently. His favorite hobbies included camping with his family, tractor pulls and shopping for antiques.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia Barco Davis, two daughters, Dawn Marie (Randy) Neely, and Alison (David) Anderson, a son, Chad (Elyse) Davis, six grandchildren, Samantha, Logan, Jacob, Madison, Cooper and Mia, as well as two great grandchildren, Milaylla and Elli, all of Potter Township., his sister, Judy Simon, of Seattle, Washington, a brother, John (Emily), of Texas, and his brother, Gene, (Wilma) Raccoon Township, as well as many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by Barney his playful cat. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Joanne Bishop, also of Potter Township.
Friends will be received on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the Simpson Funeral and Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, (724-728-4000) where a service will be held on Friday, November 4 at 10:30 AM. with the Reverend Dr. Larry Maley, pastor of North Branch Presbyterian Church, officiating.

So sorry to hear of Bull's passing. Midway bar and grille was the only bar I felt safe to go to by myself as a woman. Bull didn't take no crap from anyone! My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family God bless you all.
