Donald Arthur DeShane, who turned 82 on this year's Groundhogs Day, left his eternal home here on planet Earth, and rose to Heaven just to hear his Lord say to him "well done my good and faithful servant, enter into your rest". This was all done on Thursday, March 13 2025, just one day after having a nasty fall, hitting his head, causing a huge brain bleed.
Don was the son of Floyd and Eleanor DeShane. He was the husband to his wife, Eleanor DeShane of almost 61 years, the father of three children; Karla (Matt) Zimmerman, Darin (Sherry) DeShane, and Kendra (David) Ten Eyck. Don was the proud grandfather of 8 wonderful grandchildren, along with 14 great grandchildren. A brother Larry (Carole) DeShane. There were brothers Ronald and Raymond, along with sisters Patricia and Kay who were eagerly standing at the gate, waiting for his arrival.
Don was a mighty warrior for Christ, always praying for his family, friends, and foremost his great American Freedom. Don was always willing to share his love for his Lord with everyone, so that no one would miss eternity. Don was the best husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather that anyone could be blessed with.
