Donald “Don” Haarman,
Born December 24th, 1933 to Ed and Freida Haarman. Donald Haarman passed on this day, April 10, 2025. Loving husband of 71 years to Georgia (Smith) Haarman. Father to Dale (René) Haarman, Mike (Denise) Haarman, and Linda Chapman. Grandfather to Sara, Joseph, Brad, Ben, Jason, and the late Bethany. Great-grandfather to Charlie, Calvin, Daizee, Rudy, Islah, Nicholas, Jacob, Tyler, Makinlea, Oliver, Harrison, Josephine, Jordan, and Ella.
Dad was a dedicated firefighter with the St. Bernard Fire Department for 31 years; retiring with the rank of Captain.
Mom and Dad loved to be on or near the water at their lakefront home in Indiana for over 32 years.
Don will be greatly missed and remembered by his family and many friends.
RIP – We love you.
Visitation will take place at Immanuel United Church of Christ 210 Jefferson Ave., St. Bernard, on Thursday, April 17th from 9:30Am until Funeral Service at 11AM.
