Donald "Don" L. Smith, 81, of Knightstown, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.
He was born August 20, 1943 in Indianapolis the son of the late Earl and Dorotha (Hawkins) Smith.

Don spent many years in the construction field and specialized in pole barns and hog confinements. His later years working were in building maintenance at IMI. He was always a hard working man, but he loved to relax with Donna in his boat, fishing, running around the neighborhood on his golf cart, eating ice cream, watching the Price is Right and Westerns on TV, and telling funny stories. Don loved spending time with his grandchildren and their neighborhood kids roaming around on the golf cart and having fun.
