Donald Eldred Obituary
Donald “Butch” Eldred 71, of Oxford, NY. Passed away on January 9,2023. Butch was born in Charleston, SC, son of Donald Eldred and Margaret Hawley. He was a graduate of Oxford Academy and Central Schools and SUNY Potsdam University. He loved football and wrestling and was a NYS College wrestling champion. Butch owned and operated a real estate development business in Charlotte NC.
Butch was predeceased by his fathers Donald Eldred and Louis Wheeler. He was also predeceased by his brother Kenneth Wheeler.
Butch is survived by his mother Margaret “Mickie” Wheeler, his brother Gary (Marne) Eldred, his sister-in-law Debbie Wheeler, his cousin Michael (Kathy) Eldred, and by his son Shawn Bautz and daughter Ashley Dalton and 4 grandchildren. Butch is also survived by many extended family members.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Behe Funeral Home Inc. 21 Main Street, Oxford, NY. Graveside Funeral services will be held on Monday , May 6th 2024 in St Paul's Cemetery, Norwich, NY at 1:00PM. Friends and family may share memories and condolences by visiting www.behefuneralhome.com.
