Donald J. Filla age 91 of Romeoville, IL., passed away Monday December 23, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine Filla; loving father of Lynn (late Glenn) Filla- Clark, Karen (Alan) Szafranski, Mark (Terri) Filla and Ann (Jeff) Burkiewicz; cherished grandfather of Alex, Erin, Emilie, Mollie (Fiancé Ted), Tom (Kelsey) Jen, Samantha, Matthew (Carly) Wendy, Katie and Michael and great -grandfather of Avalyn, Russell, Reed and Raina; fond brother of the late Ed (late Irene) Filla; many nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday January 3, 2025, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Anderson Memorial Chapel 606 Townhall Dr. Romeoville, IL., chapel service Saturday January 4, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Service concludes at the funeral home. Cremation rites to be accorded. Mr. Filla will be inurned at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville, IL. with Military Honors at a later date.
