Age 81 passed away peacefully at her residence in Romeoville on Thursday August 28, 2025, with her family by her side. Doris is survived by her loving children, Dori (Daniel) Grimes, and Shaun (Jessica) Solomon; grandchildren Ashley (Alex) Jablonski, Shannon (Cody) Jarvis, D.J. Fairbanks Jr., Paige Fairbanks, and Xander Fairbanks; great grandchildren Charlotte, Olivia, James, and Esmae, also numerous nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Keith G. Solomon, infant son Jason Solomon, also a sister Sandra Starke. Visitation Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm at Anderson Memorial Chapel, 606 Townhall Dr., Romeoville, IL 60446. Interment Thursday September 4, 2025, depart funeral home 10:30 am for a 12:00 pm burial at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
