Jeanne Venard Panuncialman

Dr. Jeanne V. Panuncialman nee Coleman, 94, U.S. Navy veteran, died Aug 19 in Elmhurst after a short illness,Beloved wife of the late Robert I. Panuncialman.

Cherished mother of Mary (Brian) Alberts, Robert, Phillip (Sue), Stephen (Jill), Paula (Michael) Sexton, Peter (Danielle), Richard (Christine) and the late Jack and Diane. Proud grandmother of Patrick, Kevin, Jeanne (JT Weber), Alexis (Joseph) Little, Ashley, Nicholas, Eliot, Isabella and Richard and great-grandmother of Maximilian Weber and Ava Little.

Loving sister of Paul (the late Marian) Coleman, and sister in law of Frank (the late Marilyn) Benz, she is preceded in death by her siblings Mayme, Jack, Veronica, Rosemary, Margaret, Clara, Jerome, Sherwood, Madeline, Agnes and sister in law Doris (the late Hank) Krajewski.

Jeanne built her life around faith and family. She was a true force of nature who served her country as a Naval Nurse, a caring wife, a fantastic mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, a gifted college professor earning her Ph.D, a role model to women in medicine, and so much more. Until the very end of her life she found joy and humor and shared that with others. Jeanne's family is so grateful to the entire staff of Park Place of Elmhurst for taking such great care of her. She was truly happy there.

Visitation, Sunday, August 24th from 3:00 PM- 8:00 PM at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd., (3 blks. So. of Roosevelt Rd.,) Lombard. Funeral Monday, August 25th 9:00 AM from the funeral home to Visitation Catholic Church, 779 S. York Rd., Elmhurst, for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment Private.
