Donald Hefner Obituary
Donald is survived by his Son, Jeff Hefner and special friend Elizabeth; Grandchildren, Elesa Lewis, Dyllan Hefner, and Jonathan Hefner; Sister, Phyllis Sanders.
Donald was preceded in death by his Wife, Peggy Hefner, Father, Champ Hefner; Mother Edith Hefner; Brother Charles Hefner.
He served his country in the Navy and the National Guard for 18 years. Donald enjoyed motorcycle riding with his brother Charles, loved spending time with his family, spent time in his garden, had a passion for making wine and loved to travel.
A Visitation will be held Thursday, January 08, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, IL. A private graveside will be held at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
