Michele D
May 20, 2024
My first memory is moving here beside him, and meeting him for the first time he hugged me told me it was going to be okay here because I was having some hard times moving after living somewhere 18 years and then moving beside him to a new place where I didn't know. He said it would be okay and somehow I knew it would be. Then in the winter this past year Donnie and I had a small disagreement because one of his tree branches fell over on my car well we had a little issue but that issue went almost as fast as it happened. I was a little upset and he was too but literally just a day before he had his accident I went to his house and told him I hope that we were good and we were friends again because I didn't have anyone around here and I needed him he looked at me with his little smile and said "hey Michele...I am your friend,we're okay". I felt like we made up & I feel I went there to his house that morning shortly before he passed, because God knew we both needed that. Donald showed me around his home ,his beautiful landscape, beautiful waterfall & pond with the frogs, squirrels& lovely the birds. He had a squirrel contraption he made that he was so happy about,He said I could bring my lil niece over & take pictures sometime. He was very proud his home! Now, every time I see a squirrel coming from his way or a bird, I will always think of him. So Donnie... I know You're looking down on everyone But now you can Rest easy up there. I know you're an angel for your wife and your daughter now ! May God bless and keep you forever! I'll never forget you are the first "friend" I made when moving to the neighborhood. Much Love to the family!!
