Donald B Howard

Donald Baine Howard, 87, of Abbs Valley passed away December 30, at Bluefield Regional Hospital due to a brief illness. Don was proceeded in death by his parents William Manuel Howard and Margie Collins Howard, his sisters Fern Bell and Debbie Howard one son Donald Howard Jr. and grandson Byron Ealy.

Don was a coal miner, and later a general contractor. He was an avid hunter for many years and loved being out in the woods. Don was an avid hard worker and good provider for his family. He enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren and was always giving them gifts. He was a practical joker always joking and cutting up. He liked to serve others.

Don was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and loved his church family.

Don is survived by his wife Juanita Graham Howard of the home, Linda Howard of Hartsville, SC,

Lisa Willcut and husband Roger of London, OH, sister Wanda Epperson, and brothers Jim Howard of Abbs Valley and Billy Howard of Bluefield , VA 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Thursday at 4pm At Cravens and Shires Funeral Home with Bishop Danny Meade conducting service. Burial will be Friday morning at 9 am at Grandview Memory Gardens mausoleum with dedication of grave by Bishop Meade.

Cravens-Shires is serving the Howard family.
